After your first hour of playing Ragnarok Online you’ll probably figure out that their map system when you leave the city is extremely large. You will get a different RO map depending on where you’re going ant there are anywhere from 2-5 portals you can exit through that lead you into another very large map with even more portals. I know when I first started playing I was thinking to myself how extremely confusing this was going to be without having a Ragnarok Online map of some sort. I think just about everyone will agree that Ragnarok maps are a must if you are new to the game’s very large environment.

At first the RO maps seem to be completely random, but they do in fact have a set pattern to them. Depending on where you are and what Ragnarok map you are loaded on, each portal will take you to a specific new map that has more options for you to choose from. Finding your way from one town to the other can of course be extremely difficult if you don’t know the way. You don’t want to end up wandering off into the wilderness and getting killed by a higher level mob because you don’t know where you’re at. This is where having a set of Ragnarok Online maps comes in handy, whether it’s a digital map or you draw one yourself.
Where can you find detailed Ragnarok Online Maps?
If you have more artistic talent than many, then drawing your own Ragnarok Online maps will be really easy. However, if you’re like me then you’re going to want to find some that are already pre-drawn. Either way, it’s very beneficial to have a visual map of each area that you are walking through, so you can get from one point to the next without getting lost or dying a whole lot. Consider taking the time to find a good set of RO maps that will help you to get to better know your way around cities and other places of interest.
